| 本授業の目的およびねらい | | 本授業科目は，専門的学習のツールとして外国語の能力を高め，異文化理解を深めて，国際社会に相応しい教養を育むことが目的である。
AEB、AEI、及びeラーニングによって培った英語の読解力を用いて、さらに高いレベルの、また多様な英文の読解を行うとともに、現代社会における英語圏の文化についての深い教養を養う。文学部学生を対象に開講する。

毎週の授業の予習と復習を十分に行うとともに、関連する英語の論文・記事・エッセイ等の精読および多読に日頃から努めること。 |

Utilizing previously acquired reading skills (covered in Academic English Basic, Intermediate, and e-learning), students will read various English texts. They will also deepen their knowledge of contemporary English language and cultures. This course is offered to students in the School of Letters.
