本授業の目的およびねらい

本授業科目は，専門的学習のツールとして外国語の能力を高め，異文化理解を深めて，国際社会に相応しい教養を育むことが目的である。
AEB、AEI、AR1及びeラーニングによって培った英語の読解力を用いて、さらに高いレベルの、また多様な英文の読解を行うとともに、現代社会における英語圏の文化についての深い教養を養う。文学部学生を対象に開講する。

５回以上欠席をした場合、「欠席」の評価がつく。履修取り下げ制度は採用しない。

The purpose of this course is to help students improve their foreign language proficiency, understand foreign cultures, and acquire the knowledge required in a globalized society. Utilizing previously acquired reading skills (covered in Academic English Basic, Intermediate, Advanced Reading 1, and e-learning), students will read various English texts. They will also deepen their knowledge of contemporary English language and cultures. This course is offered to students in the School of Letters.
