| 本授業の目的およびねらい | | 本授業科目は，人文・社会科学系分野の学問体系を認識するとともに，自主的判断能力を培うことが目的である。
セミナーの基本テーマ：心はコンピュータによってシミュレーションできるか考える
人間の心とはなにか、さらには人間の知能や心といったものはコンピュータによってシミュレーション可能であるのかを哲学の立場から考察することを通じて，学問的知識の探求のプロセスとその面白さを体験する。 |

The aim of this class is to provide the students with the philosophical theories concerning the nature of human mind, how we should think about the relationship between mind and body, whether it is possible to simulate the function of human mind by computer, if it is possible, whether we can call such a system a new type of mind. And through the instruction which will be provided in this class they will experience the joy of philosophical thinking and discussions and be able to think independently and spontaneously. |
