本授業の目的およびねらい

本授業科目は，人文・社会科学系分野の学問体系を認識するとともに，自主的判断能力を培うことが目的である。
本授業の目的は、市場経済について現状・歴史的変遷および経済理論の基礎知識を習得し、現代社会が直面する身近で重要な問題について批判的思考を養うことである。
受講後、学生は、１）地域経済統合の歴史的経験、２）資本主義経済システムの発展、３）世界市場の形成過程とそれに伴う経済・社会問題、について説明できることを目標とする。

毎回，課題が出題されます．それに基づいて，復習や予習（情報収集）を行ってください．また，不定期で，予習・復習の内容を授業内の小テストで確認し、成績評価に反映させます．
講義開始日までにNUCTで講義情報を確認してください．

This course introduces the foundations of history of integration, policies and current economical issues of the European Union (EU) to students taking this course.The focus will be on the institutions and economic policies of the EU as overarching integration project in Europe and its impact on the member states. We will also explore the key areas of EU competence, such as the European Single Currency, the Single Market and free movement, asylum & immigration, the Common Agricultural Policy etc.
At the end of the course, participants are expected to recount the main steps of European construction, explain the institutional functioning of the EU and talk about various economic issues; 2) discuss these topics with a structured argument presenting the different possible takes on an issue and its ins and outs.

時事ニュースに注目し、自分なりの意見を作りましょう。貿易自由化、地域経済統合、保護主義、移民問題、領土問題、外国為替、金融政策、財政政策、EU離脱問題、農業問題、社会保障政策など、今起こりつつある変化や問題を建設的に考える意欲をもって参加してください。
