本授業の目的およびねらい

本授業科目は，人文・社会科学系分野の学問体系を認識するとともに，自主的判断能力を培うことが目的である。
世界の多くの地域において，15世紀は我々が「伝統的」と考えるものが形成され始めた時期として重要性を持つ。本講義では鄭和の遠征を取りあげ，それが遠征先の歴史にどのような刺激を与えたか，また中国本土の歴史にどのように位置づけられるかを考える。
最終的にはそれを通じて，アジア近世の交流史，ひいては現代における中国の海洋進出についても多角的に考察する視点と基礎知識を習得することが目標である。

教科書・テキスト

特に指定しない。毎回の講義内容に関する参考文献は必要に応じて指示する。

講義で使用したスライド等は担当者のWebサイトに掲載する予定なので（閲覧方法等については授業中に指示する），これを利用して講義内容について自分なりに整理しておくこと。

In many parts of the world, the 15th century is important as the time when what we consider "traditional" began to take shape. In this class, we will take up Zhenghe's expedition to the South and examine how it stimulated the history of the countries it visited, and how it is positioned in the history of mainland China. Ultimately, the goal is to acquire the viewpoint and basic knowledge to multilaterally consider the history of exchanges in the early modern era of Asia and, in turn, China's advance into the ocean in the present age.
