| 本授業の目的およびねらい | | 本授業科目は，人文・社会科学系分野の諸現象について，それらの諸現象を学際的，総合的に分析，把握する能力を育むとともに，他の学問分野との関連性について理解することが目的である。
国際開発協力の歴史、戦略、現状を理解した上で、開発の負の部分である人権・差別・阻害の問題と武力紛争の問題について、とくに法的・政治的側面からアプローチする。
授業の目標として、受講生が開発戦略と光となる部分と影となる部分の相互関係を事例と理論を組み合わせて理解できるようになることを目指す。 |

| 注意事項 | | | 国連開発計画が発行するHuman Development ReportやNGO報告書等英語資料を参照するので、英語資料を読むのを厭わないことが重要である。受講生は、随時指示される資料・ウェブサイトを授業前に予習して授業に臨むこと。授業開始15分以降の入室は、正当な理由がない限り認めません。授業は8時45分に開始します。 |

| 担当教員からのメッセージ | | The goals of this class are 1) to explain the history, strategy, and achievement of international development cooperation, and 2) to discuss the negative aspect of development, namely human rights violation and deprivation in development process and conflicts in developing countries.
As the objectives of this class, students should be able to understand the relation between the positive side of development and the negative side of development by combining cases and theoretical explanations.
We will refer to Human Development Reports published by the United Nations Development Program and relevant reports issued by NGOs.
Participants can not enter the classroom after 9:00 AM. |
