本授業の目的およびねらい
本授業科目は，自然科学系分野の諸現象について，それらの諸現象を学際的，総合的に分析，把握する能力を育むとともに，他の学問分野との関連性について理解することが目的である。
　本講義では、人類の食を支える農が、これまでにどのような発達過程をたどり、現状がどうなっているのかを理解する。それをもとに、家畜や作物の生産現場で活用されている手法に関して理解を深める。講義を通じ、生産現場での問題点を見出し科学的に解決したり、より専門的な研究を進めたりするための基盤的能力を身につける。
教科書・テキスト
教科書は指定しない。毎回の授業資料はNUCTにて配布する。

At the end of the course, participants are expected to understand the development process and the current status of agriculture that supports the food of mankind. Also, to deepen the understanding of the methods and techniques used in livestock and crop production sites. Through these activities, students will acquire the basic ability to identify and solve problems at the production site scientifically, and to advance more specialized research.
