| 授業の目的 【日本語】 | | 本講義では、政治学における経験的および規範的政治理論の最新の動向をフォローすることのできる、英語及び日本語の文献を購読する。参加者が分担して報告し、その報告に基づいて討議を行う。適宜参加者の個人研究報告を行うこともあり得る。
つまり、本講義は、以下の内容から構成される。
１．現代の経験的政治理論
２．現代の規範的政治理論
３．政治学における政治理論の位置づけ
なお、本講義に参加する者は、後期に開講の「現代政治理論研究Ｂ」（隔週月曜３・４限）にも継続して参加すること。やむを得ず後期に参加できない場合は、担当教員に個別に相談すること。

| 授業の目的 【英語】 | | This course offers an opportunity to understand current state of contemporary political theories including both normative and empirical aspects.
Participants are required to read assigned books and articles written in either English or Japanese and to make presentations on them. Research presentations of each participant might be conducted during the course.
Students attending this course are generally required to attend the Contemporary Political Theory B opened in the fall semester in period 3 and 4 on every other Monday. If students cannot attend it, please let the instructor know. |

| 履修条件・関連する科目 | | 「講義概要」に記したとおり、本講義に参加する者は、後期に開講の「現代政治理論研究Ｂ」にも参加すること。やむを得ず後期に参加できない場合は、担当教員に個別に相談すること。 ②政治学の専門的な英語文献・日本語文献をそれなりのペースで読み進めるため、報告の作成、事前の予習、当日の討論への参加など、積極的な参加姿勢が求められる。

| 注意事項 | | 4月上旬（4月12日）に開催される「政治科研オリエンテーション」において、本年度の予定の詳細を説明するので、政治学系の院生は、このオリエンテーションに参加すること。政治学系以外で本講義への参加を希望する院生は、初回授業（4月13日（月）13時30分（予定））で、扱うテキストや今後の報告日程等についての打ち合わせを行うので、参加すること。その際、事前に電子メール等で授業担当者まで連絡をとること。
The first class will be at 1:30 pm on Monday 12 April (tentative). The venue is still TBA, but at a seminar room in the Asian Legal Exchange Building . The short introduction of the course will be conducted then. If students whose research fields are not political science hope to attend this course, please contact the instructor before the first class. |
