授業の目的 【英語】
The primary goal of this course is to understand how China, Japan, and Korea govern society through law. Participants are expected to share their understanding of social governance through law in their jurisdictions with the class participants. The instructor will lead the presentation about the Japanese approach to social governance through law. To the possible extent, experts in China, Japan, and Korea will join the class via the Internet. Participants may use their own research topic to illustrate social governance through law.

2. to improve the briefing skill to explain how a legal institution works in society, and

成績評価の方法と基準
30%: presentation and participation in the class, 30%: materials prepared by the student, and 40%: a short paper on a selected topic by each participant.

A workshop on how to research through the Internet will provide relevant information.
参考書
PowerPoint files and other digital materials prepared by the instructor and the participants.
課外学習等(授業時間外学習の指示)
Research on one's own jurisdiction and development of PowerPoint presentations are expected.
