In this seminar, students acquire the knowledge of the basic theory on "signal processing, pattern recognition, machine learning" etc., which is the basis of Intelligent Systems Science. And they will understand the universal concepts and knowledge necessary for understanding the application and advanced methods for structuring various systems.

知能システム学の基盤となる「信号処理，パターン認識，機械学習」等に関する基礎理論の知識獲得を目標とする。
様々なシステム構築の応用・発展的手法を理解する上で普遍的に必要となる概念，知識を理解することを目指す。

The goal of this seminar is to acquire the knowledge of the basic theory on "signal processing, pattern recognition, machine learning" etc., which is the basis of Intelligent Systems Science. We will aim to understand the universal concepts and knowledge necessary for understanding the application and advanced methods for structuring various systems.
授業の内容や構成
基礎理論の知識獲得のため，当該分野の基礎的な教科書等の輪読を通じた教授を行う。
受講者を６グループに分け，それぞれのグループに担当課題を割り当て，グループごとに調査・発表を行う。

To acquire knowledge on the basic theory, the seminar will be taught through reading basic textbooks etc. in the field. Students are divided into six groups, where each group will be assigned tasks, and will conduct surveys and presentations.

成績評価の方法と基準
発表の評価５０％，他のグループに対する討論５０％，合計１００点満点で６０点以上を合格とする。
Evaluation of the presentation 50%, discussion with other groups 50%. A total of 60/100 points will pass.
教科書・参考書
資料は時流に応じて適切に指示する。
また，必要に応じて印刷配布する。
履修条件は課さない。
Materials will be indicated according to the current trend.
They will be distribute as printed matters when necessary.
There is no prerequisite for taking this seminar.
