| 授業の目的 【日本語】 | | | | | 授業の目的 【英語】 | | These days, researchers from various fields such as neuroscience, cognitive science, evolutionary biology, anthropology, articifial intelligence and so on are studying `morality' and have revealed new facts about it.
In this lecture, we will see these new findings, and consider the origin of morality, mechanisms of moral thinking, reasons why we have moral conflicts, and possible solutions to them. At the same time, we will critically examine difficulties and limitations of these scientific approaches to morality.

このトラブルの解決のためには道徳についてのより良い理解が必要である。
この講義では近年，様々な分野において明らかになっている道徳についての新たな知見を参照しながら，
「道徳とは何か」ということについてのより良い理解を獲得することを目指す。 |

本講義ではこれらの分野の近年の成果を紹介しながら，道徳の起源，道徳的思考のメカニズム，道徳の衝突が起こる理由，道徳の衝突を解決する方法などについて考える。
同時にこれらの科学的なアプローチの持つ困難と限界についても考え，道徳についての理解を深める。

8. 道徳の衝突の克服に向けて | In recent years, research on "morality" has been carried out in various fields such as brain science, cognitive science, evolutionary biology, natural anthropology, cultural anthropology, and artificial intelligence, and has produced new knowledge.
In this lecture, we will introduce the recent achievements in these fields and discuss the origin of morals, the mechanism of moral thinking, the reason why moral conflict occurs, and the method of resolving moral conflict.
At the same time, we consider the difficulties and limitations of these scientific approaches to deepen your understanding of morality.
