Cognitive psychology is a thriving area to examine internal mental processes such as perception, memory, attention, language, and problem solving. In this term, this course covers recent topics in the domain of especially human memory. Current theories and data on human memory will be presented followed by the discussion about specific topics of episodic memory, consciousness, memory control, and and nostalgia (emotion). Students will present, discuss, and critique current research with regard to the investigation of human memory.

本講義では，人間の認知の基本的過程，特に記憶の仕組みおよび関連する知覚・注意の仕組みを中心として考察することによって，
人間の情報処理過程の特徴の理解を目標とする。

認知心理学の代表的な理論，研究方法，実証的知見を解説するとともに，隣接分野における研究との関連を学ぶ。
教員による解説と同時に，これらの分野に関する代表的文献を購読し，受講者同士の発表・議論を行うことによって理解を深める。

This course will provide modern development of cognitive psychology, including theories, research methods, and essential findings. Besides, related topics of cognitive science and cognitive neuroscience will help you to understand how broad cognitive psychology research works. The course of this year mainly focuses on human memory and attention as well as other topics.
In addition to the lecture, students will read essential papers of cognitive psychology and discuss with other students.

履修条件・関連する科目
成績評価の方法と基準
講義時の議論の評価（積極的な参加，発言），３０％，文献発表の評価３０％，レポート４０%で評価し，
合計１００点満点で６０点以上を合格とする。
教科書・参考書
文献資料等を必要に応じて紹介し配付する。
課外学習等（授業時間外学習の指示）
講義で紹介した内容・文献についての予習とともに，議論に必要な資料の作成を求める。
