| 授業の目的 【英語】 | | | The research in social cognition analyzes how people form the understanding of their social environment which comprises interpersonal relationships, influences from groups and culture that one belongs to, and even their self-concept. In this lecture, we will discuss issues concerning the mechanism of information processing about social events, and the structure of relevant mental representations. |

| 到達目標 【日本語】 | | 社会的認知とは，人が他者や自己，そしてそれを取り巻く集団や文化，つまり社会的環境について「理解」を形成する過程である。
この授業では，社会的認知の基礎をなす情報処理過程と，それにより産出される認知表象の特質，またそれぞれが社会的文脈において果たす役割について論じる。
そして，社会的認知研究における基本的概念と最新の研究動向の把握を目的とする。 |

| 授業の内容や構成 | | 担当教員の講義に加えて，講義内容に関する討論や，社会的認知分野における代表的な文献の講読を行う。
討論と講読では受講者が討論リーダーを分担し合って議論の活発化を図る。
