| 授業の目的 【英語】 | | | In this lecture, we will attempt to relate fundamental issues of social cognition to actual social phenomena such as judgments of morality and fairness, interpersonal and intergroup conflicts, and intercultural relations. |

| 到達目標 【日本語】 | | 社会的認知の基本問題を，具体的な社会事象と関連づけながら議論する。
個別の問題領域として，人間の道徳判断や公正・不公正に関わる認知，対人間や集団間に発生する紛争，
文化間の関係と認知などの中から主要テーマを設定する。
いずれの領域においても，社会的事象がもつ心理学的な意味を見抜き，その本質を明らかにするための
研究を立案・実行する能力を涵養することを目的とする。 |

| 到達目標 【英語】 | | | We will aim to develop insights into the psychological principles governing various social events as well as abilities to design and execute empirical research to reveal the psychological essence of those events. |

| 授業の内容や構成 | | 担当教員の講義に加えて，受講者の中から選んだ発表者が文献の要点について報告する。
他の受講者は，授業前の指定日までにディスカッション・ペーパーを所定のwebsiteにアップロードし，
これをもとに発表者の主導による討論を行う。

8. まとめと総合討論 | Students will take turns to report the summary of reading assignments. Each student is expected to submit a reaction paper for the weekly reading assignment prior to the class session. The reaction papers will also serve as a basis for class discussions.
