| 授業の目的 【日本語】 | | 砕屑岩類は地表に露出する岩石が浸食され，陸水や海水によって地球表層を移動して形成されたものであり，これらの砕屑岩の生成環境と岩相の多様性について，造山運動と風化・浸食・運搬・堆積作用の観点から理解を深める。またそれらをもとに実際に野外観察を通し、その情報からそこに生じた地質現象を推定する応用力をつける。さらにそれらの現象を統合して地球に生じた現象を考える力を養う。

| 授業の目的 【英語】 | | Clastic rocks are formed through erosion of rocks on the earth and transportation by water or wind. Sedimentary environment and lithological variation of clastic rocks based on orogeny, weathering, erosion, transportation and deposition should be understood through this course. By learning various fundamental knowledges on sedimentology and tectonics based on natural science, wider and integrated viewpoint for environmental studies will be established.

| 授業の内容や構成 | | 本講義は，１泊2日または2泊3日の野外巡検と数回のセミナーからなる．
１．イントロダクション
２〜６．野外巡検に向けて，見学地の地質を題材に，堆積作用，後背地解析，地質構造，地質構造発達史，日本の地質などについて，各人1つテーマを決めてレビューし，1回（２０分程度）のプレゼンテーションを行う．テーマに関するレビューは各人，授業時間外に各自で文献等を調べて行う．
７〜１５．野外巡検として実施する．
野外巡検は，堆積作用と地質構造発達を学ぶにふさわしい地質を見学し，現地で討論会を開く．
| This class includes two or three days field excursion and several times of seminar.
Field excursion will be carried out in Cenozoic to Paleozoic geology areas to study sedimentology and structural geology.
Before the field excursion, students need to make a presentation on a theme relative to the geology of Japan, evolution of geological structure, sedimentology, or provenance analysis. The preparation of own presentation should be done out of this class.
This course is conducted in mainly Japanese but accept international student who have studied geology. |
