地球を理解するためには，現在の地球の姿を探るだけでは不十分であり，地球誕生から現在に至るまでの地球史全体をとらえることが必要である．本講義では，全地球史における地球の内部構造の進化および地球表層環境の変化について概観する．
【到達目標】
全地球史について，地球化学の観点から，統合的に理解する能力をつけることを目標とする．

For understanding the Earth, it is necessary to understand not only the present Earth but also the whole history of the Earth from its birth to its present. The lecture will overview the evolution of internal structure and change of terrestrial environment of the Earth through its whole history
【到達目標】
The aim of this course is to help students acquire a comprehensive understanding of the whole history of the Earth from the point of view of geochemistry.

| 授業の内容や構成 | | 初回の講義は, 4月20日（月）とする．
講義室をE館1階の101講義室に変更する．
【授業の構成】地球誕生から現在に至るまでの大陸地殻，大気，海洋，生物の進化について，それぞれを関連付けながら，以下の項目に関して講義を行う．
1．地球年代学の基礎：放射性元素を用いた地球年代学
2．太陽系のなかの地球：太陽系星雲，凝縮論，隕石
3．大陸地殻の進化：地球の層構造，コア形成，マントルの分化
4．大気・海洋の起源と進化
5．地球表層の環境変動：大陸移動，大陸衝突と造山運動
6．生命の誕生
7．地球環境と生物の進化
【授業時間外学習の指示】
上記各トピックスに関する講義のほか，小レポート（2, 3回）を宿題として課し，さらに，各自（あるいは各グループ）が興味を持って調べた内容の発表，その内容をまとめた最終レポートを課す． | 【授業の構成】
Lecture on chronology about history of the Earth. The contents of the class is shown below:
1. Basics of Earth chronology: Earth chronology using radioactive dating
2. The Earth in the solar system: The solar system nebula, condensation theory, meteorite
3. Evolution of the continental crust: Laminar structure inside the Earth, core formation, mantle differentiation
4. Origin and evolution of atmosphere and ocean
5. Environmental changes of the surface on the Earth
6. Origin of life
7. Evolution of global environment and life

Mini reports (2 or 3 times), presentation, and the final report will be assigned. |

| 成績評価の方法と基準 | | 受講態度を含めた出席状況，小レポート，発表および最終レポートの評価によって総合的に判断する．
評価方法：出席状況20%，小レポート提出15%，発表50%，最終レポート15％の各成績を総合的に判断する.
評価基準：総点60点以上を合格とします. | Evaluated by course attendance including attitude, mini reports, presentation and the final report.
