専門的な知識を修得することを目的とする．本授業では環境物質化学に関する専門知識を
修得する．

環境物質化学分野における最近のニュースやトピックスを題材にした講義・討論を通じて，
同分野における問題意識の所在や近年の動向，環境への配慮を理解し，説明できることを

In this course, students will deepen their interests in urban environment and
sustainable urban development, recognize broad range of issues involved, and
obtain some knowledge of specialized subjects. In this class,students will
acquire specialized knowledge on environmental material chemistry.
【Course outcomes】
Students will understand and be able to explain recent trends, major priority, and
environmental awareness in the field of environmental materials chemistry, through
the lectures and discussions on recent news and topics in this field.

| 授業の内容や構成 | | ○初回授業として，10/2（金）に対面でガイダンスを実施する（場所：情報学研究科棟
1階，講義室4）．出席できない場合は，前日10/1までに電子メールで連絡すること．
翌週以降の授業形態については，ガイダンス出席者数などをもとに判断し，改めて通知する．
【授業の構成】
環境物質化学に関する下記の英文資料をもとに講義と討論を行う．
1. 資源・元素動向
2. 日常の化学物質
3. 難分解性化学物質
4. プラスチック類
5. 環境調和型物質変換
6. その他
【授業時間外学習】
予め講義資料を読んだ上で授業に参加することが求められる．
| 【Contents】
Lectures and discussions will be held based on course materials
related to the environmental material chemistry as exampled below.
1. Topics in elements and resources.
2. Chemical materials in daily life.
3. Persistent chemical substances.
4. Plastic materials.
5. Environmentally-responsible chemical transformations.
6. Other topics.
【Homework】
Students are required to read through the handouts prior to attending each of the class.
