【授業の目的】環境保全活動や環境技術に関する専門知識や工学的手法の、実社会への活用事例を学ぶことで、実践的な社会基盤整備を行うリーダーとしての素養を身に付けることを目的とする。
【到達目標】
この講義では、受講者が以下の知識・能力を身に付けることを目標とする。
１． 環境保全活動と環境技術の実例を理解できる。
２． 上記の実例が、関連科目で履修した内容とどのように結びつくのか、理論的な大きな枠組み
で考え，説明することができる。

| 授業の目的 【英語】 | | The student will learn the practical skills as a leader in developing infrastructure by learning examples of how to apply the expertise and engineering techniques related to environmental conservation activities and technologies to the real world.
The objective of this lecture is to acquire the following knowledge and skills.
1. Understand examples of environmental conservation activities and environmental technologies.
2. Be able to consider and explain in a large theoretical framework how the above examples relate to the
content taken in related subjects.

| 授業の内容や構成 | | 2020年度の講義は，原則遠隔講義とし，一部遠隔と対面を組合せて行う．講義方法の詳細は初回講義にて通知する．
初回講義は10月8日10：30より，Zoomにて実施する．受講希望者は氏名および学籍番号を電子メールにて講義担当者（iryo(at)nagoya-u.jp）に連絡すること．
本授業では、環境保全活動や環境技術に優位性を持つ、主に中部地域の企業の方を招き、実務での最新の環境への取り組みについて講義を受ける。
１．企業による講演と議論
企業の方より環境保全活動や環境技術の実例に関する講演を聞き、その内容について議論を行う。

２．グループ発表
講演の内容とこれまでに他科目等で学習した内容を踏まえ、理論と実践との結びつきについてグループディスカッションを行い、その結果をとりまとめて発表する。
授業はすべて英語で実施する。毎回の講義の後、講演内容に関するリアクションペーパーの提出
を求める。グループ発表においては、講義時間外に資料収集や発表資料の準備を行うこと。
| The lectures in FY2020 will be held basically online, while in some of the weeks online and on-site classes will be simultaneously held. The details will be informed in the first class. The first class will be given by Zoom (online) only at 10:30 on Oct. 8th.
Students are requested to email to the instructor (iryo(at)nagoya-u.jp) in advance with their names and student IDs.
In this class, lecturers are invited from companies mainly in the Chubu region, which have an advantage in environmental conservation activities and environmental technologies, for lectures on the latest environmental initiatives in business.

Listen to lectures on application examples of environmental conservation activities and environmental technologies from companies and discuss their contents.

2. Group presentations
Based on the contents of the lectures and the contents learned in other subjects, a group discussion will be held on the connection between theory and practice, and the results will be presented.
All classes will be conducted in English. After each lecture, students will be asked to submit a reaction paper on the content of the lecture. For group presentations, collect materials and prepare presentation materials outside of class hours.

| 成績評価の方法と基準 | | グループプレゼンテーションおよびディスカッションへの貢献により評価する。環境保全活動と環境技術の実例を理解し、理論と実践の関係について論理的に説明できることを合格の条件とする。
出席率が80%に満たない場合は、自動的に単位取得資格を失う。 | Evaluation is based on contributions to group presentations and discussions. Requirements to pass are to be able to understand the examples of environmental conservation activities and environmental technologies, and to be able to logically explain the relationship between theory and practice.
Attendance of more than 80% lectures are necessary to have credits. |
