本講義の目的は，応用ミクロ経済学の観点から，都市経済学・地域経済学の専門研究に必要な理論的基礎知識を学ぶことです． また，これらの分野と親和性の高い地方公共経済学（地方財政の応用ミクロ分析）についても学習します．
到達目標
本授業では，受講者が以下の知識・能力を身につけることを目標とする．
1) 地域に関する経済問題を理解することができる．
2) 地域の経済分析に必要な基礎理論を習得する．
3) 基礎理論を応用して，現実の地域問題を考える能力を身につける．

| 授業の目的 【英語】 | | The objective of this course is to learn the basic theory of urban & regional economics as applied macroeconomic analyses. In addition, the course deals with some topics related to local public economics.
Students will become familiar with various economic issues related to cities and regions. Using the economic theory, students will be able to investigate those issues.

| 授業の内容や構成 | | 注意事項：
秋学期の授業は，ZOOMによる遠隔講義にて行う．基本的に講義の時間割通り（木曜3限）に行う予定である．（事前にZOOMの招待状をNUCTにアップするので，NUCTの講義のページを毎日確認すること．）
初回10月8日（木）：3限目の時間帯 （10/7までに初回のZOOM招待状をNUCTにアップする予定）
初回に，講義運営形態や成績評価方法等について，受講生と相談を行いたい．

| 成績評価の方法と基準 | | | 平常点（出席・講義中の態度等30%）とレポート（70%）により評価します．単位取り下げ制度は適用しません．レポート未提出者は「欠席」評価とします． | Class performance (30%) & the final report (70%). The procedure for “withdrawing the course” will not be applied. Not submitting the final report will be graded as ‘Absent’.

| 参考書 | | 都市経済学，地域経済学に関する書籍はすべて参考になります．講義初回に主な書籍を紹介します．その他の参考文献（学術論文等）は，講義中に紹介します．応用ミクロ経済学の講義ですから，基本的なミクロ経済学（効用＆利潤最大化，費用最小化，双対性）と経済数学の知識（微積分）を有する院生を想定した講義です．“初歩的な内容”も含まれていますが，“本講義における高度な内容”を理解するのに必要な知識の目安として，以下の2冊を挙げておきます： 武隈愼一(2016)『ミクロ経済学』新生社; Chiang (2005), Fundamental Methods of Mathematical Economics; McGraw Hill. ( チャン(1995) 『現代経済学の数学基礎 上・下』，シーエーピー出版 ) .
