| 授業の内容や構成 | | 秋学期の授業は、対面授業とZoomによる遠隔授業を併用して行う。教室は社会学演習室（情報学部棟C344）とする。
初回の授業は、10月9日から開始する。
対面授業を希望する受講希望者はメールで連絡すること。
ZoomのURLなど、詳しい授業方法はNUCTで知らせる。
この講義では、グローバリゼーションとポスト工業社会にともなう現代社会の変化として、社会的排除や新しい社会的リスクの問題を検討する。介護・福祉や防災などの課題解決において、行政や制度のみでは限界があり、住民主体のまちづくりやコミュニティ活動の重症性が認識されている。市場、国家、コミュニティのガバナンスや、市場や制度の限界を補完する社会関係資本について理解を深める。

受講者は上記のトピックスについて発表を行う。各受講者は毎回の授業の前に指定された文献を読むこと。
| This course examines changes and problems in the contemporary society through the key term 'globalization' and 'post-industrial society’: social exclusion or new social risk. As the solution of these problems the importance of community or informal network is getting reaffirmed. We deepen understanding of the governance of markets, states, and communities, and social capital that complements the limits of markets and institutions.
Topics include

・Social network and social capital
・Community structure in large cities
Students will be assigned to do presentation on the above topics.
Each student must read the designated literature before attending class.
