| 授業の目的 【日本語】 | | 【セミナーの目的】本セミナーはTrade and Environment をテーマに、環境保護と自由貿易の関係を考えることを目的とする。「貿易と環境」問題が発現する様々な分野をみながら、国際環境法と国際通商法の相互関係について検討する。
【セミナーの目標】「貿易と環境」問題が生じる文脈や背景を理解し、両者の関係がどのように調整されるべきかについて説明できるようになることを目標とする。

| 授業の目的 【英語】 | | 【Course Aim】This seminar is designed to understand complex relationships between "trade and environment." The seminar examines interactions between international environmental law and international trade law, looking at controversial cases and various types of measures.
【Course Objective】By the end of this seminar, students will be able to understand when the interactions/conflicts between the two areas have manifested and explain how their relationships should be adjusted and coordinated.

| 授業の内容や構成 | | ★初回の授業は、４月２３日（木）の予定です。Zoomを使いますので、授業に参加希望の人は事前にメールを送ってください（naiki.yoshiko@k.mbox.nagoya-u.ac.jp）。Zoomのリンクを送ります。
（１）セミナーの前半は、Trade and Environment に関する基本文献を読みながら、関連の事例や措置について議論し、
（２）セミナー後半は、各自でTrade and Environmentの任意のケースを取り上げ、プレゼンテーションを行い、全員で議論する。
◎ 毎回、次回セミナーの課題をだすので、その課題について考えて取り組んでくること。 | ★This seminar begins on 23 April (Thursday), via Zoom. Please send me email (naiki.yoshiko@k.mbox.nagoya-u.ac.jp) if you'd like to attend this class. I will send you the Zoom link.
This seminar is organized as follows:
(1) in the first half of the seminar, we will undertake assigned readings and discuss cases and measures regarding "trade and environment",
(2) in the second half of the seminar, each participant will make a presentation, picking up a topic of one's interest within the "trade environment" area, and participants will make comments each other.
◎ At each class, discussion questions to prepare for the next seminar are set out for assignment. |

| 成績評価の方法と基準 | | | ①平常点（出席と議論への参加）50％、②学期中のプレゼンテーションの評価50％、の合計で成績とし、100点満点で60点以上を合格とする。毎回のセミナーにおけるディスカッションへの参加は、すべての学生に期待される。合格の基準は「貿易と環境」問題の特性を理解し、様々な事例を批判的に検討できるかどうかである。 | This seminar is assessed by two components: (1) seminar attendance and discussion participation: 50 % and (2) in class presentation: 50%.
The score above or equal to 60 is a passing grade. Participation in class discussions is expected of all students. To receive a passing grade, students must understand features of "trade and environment" problems and be able to critically evaluate different examples.
