本授業では、個別研究の前提となる、社会学分野の論文作成に関する基本的考え方に習熟することを目的とする。社会学関連の学術論文の構成を精査し、研究論文として備えるべき条件について基礎的な理解をえる。また授業においては研究倫理・調査倫理に関して説明する。

The purpose of this class is to familiarize students with the basic concept of writing papers in the field of sociology, which is a prerequisite for individual research. Through examining the structure of academic papers related to sociology, students are encouraged to consider the basic conditions of the research papers. In the class, the research ethics will be explained.
[Attainment goal]
Understand the basic structure of scholarly papers and gain a basic understanding to prepare for their master's thesis. |

| 授業の内容や構成 | | 1) 社会学とは何か、科学的研究とは何かを考える機会を提供する。
2）社会学における基本的な理論、方法論に親しんでもらう。
3）受講者が自分自身の社会学的研究をデザインできるよう助言する。
4) 論文とは何か、査読付き論文の条件について考える。
また履修者は本セミナーで実施される研究倫理教育ガイダンスの受講を必須とする。 | The aims of this seminar are:
1) To provide students with opportunities for thinking what is sociology and what is scientific research.
2) To familiarize students with some basic theories and methodologies in sociology.
3) To encourage and advise students to design one's own research project in the field of sociology.
4) To discuss conditions of refereed journal article
All participants are required to attend the Guidance session on research ethics conducted as part of this seminar. |
