地理学の研究実践活動を通じて、専門知識や方法の深化、調査研究活動への応用力、環境理解に係る総合的視点などの能力を養い、修士論文の作成を目指す。(DP2, DP4)

Through research and practical activities of geography, all students nurture skills such as deepening of expertise and method, applicability to research activities, comprehensive viewpoint on environmental understanding and so on. These skills are required for students to complete their master's thesis. (DP2, DP4)

授業の内容や構成
秋学期の授業は、遠隔授業にて行う。受講方法については別途メールにて通知する。
　地理学に関する諸問題と地理学における研究動向を自然地理学・人文地理学・地理情報科学といった文理にわたる総合的観点から整理した上で、地理学の基礎的な理論・概念・方法論をふまえるとともに、個別テーマの調査・研究成果について詳細に検討し、研究論文作成の指導を行う。（同時出席により担当）また履修者は本セミナーで実施される研究倫理教育ガイダンスの受講を必須とする。
This class is a remote seminar. More information will be announced by email.
Students will conduct independent research on a topic of their interests from the fields of physical geography, human geography and geographic information science. Time will be devoted during seminar sessions to the presentation and discussion of developing student work. All participants are required to attend the Guidance session on research ethics conducted as part of this seminar.
