授業の目的　【日本語】
Academic Writing and Research Integrity” is the official name of Mei-Writing summer camp. The summer camp has been widely praised as the best outdoor learning experience for graduate students. It combines training in logical thinking, academic writing, research ethics, English communication, presentation, team-building and leadership in one program. Its primary goal is to transform higher education outside the classroom setting so that a more suitable learning environment can be created to develop student’s self-confidence in research, communication and leadership. All camp activities are conducted within a team setting. Each student will work with 3 or 4 members within a team throughout the 4-day camp to compete with other teams for a top prize. They will learn how to make their research ideas clear and convincing in academic writing, and understand the importance of upholding ethical standards and practices when conducting research. Under this competitive environment, students will naturally become more active and confident in learning.

４日間のサマーキャンプで行う。論理的思考，アカデミックライティング，研究倫理，英語コミュニケーション，プレゼンテーション，チームビルディング，リーダーシップの訓練を一つのプログラムに組み込んでいる。主な目標は，教室の外での学習に変えることにより，適切な学習環境を作り出し，研究，コミュニケーション及びリーダーシップに対する学生の自信を深めることである。すべてのキャンプ活動はチームで行われ、参加者は３～４人のチームを作り，４日間のキャンプ全日程を通して，他チームと競争する。研究アイディアを明確にし，学術研究論文において説得力のあるものにする方法を学び，研究を行うにあたり倫理的基準の重要性を理解する。この競争環境の下，学生は自然に学ぶことに対して積極的になり，自信を持つ。
