| 授業の目的 【日本語】 | | 政治学における、経験的および規範的理論の最新の動向をフォローすることのできる、英語及び日本語の文献を購読する。参加者が分担して報告し、その報告に基づいて討議を行う。適宜参加者の個人研究報告を行うこともあり得る。
つまり、本講義は下記の内容によって構成される。
１．現代の経験的政治理論
２．現代の規範的政治理論
３．政治学における政治理論の位置づけ
なお、本講義に参加する者は、前期に開講の「現代政治理論研究Ａ」から継続して参加すること。やむを得ず前期に参加できない場合は、担当教員に個別に相談すること。 |

| 授業の目的 【英語】 | | This course offers an opportunity to understand current state of contemporary political theories. It deals with both normative and empirical aspects of political theory.
Participants are required to read assigned books and articles written in either English or Japanese and to make presentations on them. Research presentations of each participant might be conducted during the course.
Students having attended the Contemporary Political Theory A which was opened in the spring semester are expected to continue to attend this course as well. If students cannot attend it, please let the instructor know. |

②政治学の専門的な英語文献・日本語文献をそれなりのペースで読み進めるため、報告の作成、事前の予習、当日の討論への参加など、積極的な参加姿勢が求められる。

Both empirical and normative literature through which participants can understand current state of contemporary political theory will be assigned based on discussion between the instructor and students. |

| 注意事項 | | ４月上旬（4月12日）に開催される「政治科研オリエンテーション」において、本年度の予定の詳細を説明する予定なので、政治学系の院生は、このオリエンテーションに参加すること。政治学系以外で本講義への参加を希望する院生は、４月13日（月）13時30分（予定）の「現代政治理論研究Ａ」の初回授業時に、今後の報告日程等についての打ち合わせを行うので、そこに参加すること。
The first class of Contemporary Political Theory A will be at 1:30 pm on Monday 13 April (tentative). The short introduction of not only Contemporary Political Theory A but also B will be conducted then. If students whose research fields are not political science hope to attend both courses, please contact the instructor before the first class.
