| 授業の目的 【日本語】 | | 持続可能な社会づくりのため、分野を横断して、さまざまなステークホルダーとともに環境問題の診断から治療までを行い、問題解決を行う新しい学問—臨床環境学—を提案・構築してきています。基礎環境学講究では、この臨床環境学を支える体系としての基礎環境学とは何かについて、教員・学生双方で意見を交換し、考えを深めていきます。具体的には、「持続可能な社会を展望する」と題して(1)持続可能な開発とは何かテキストを通じて学びます。(2) 臨床環境学とは何かテキストを通じて学びます。(3) 2015年に国連が採択したSDGs（持続可能な開発目標）の中から一つの目標を選び、自らの研究とのつながりについて発表します。SDGsのコンセプトを理解しその達成に貢献できる研究活動ができるようになることが目標です。DP2環境問題(地球規模課題)について、修得した知識をもとに深く思考し、果敢に取り組むことができる、DP3自らの専門領域に閉じない柔軟な英知を身につけ、環境にかかわる幅広い学問分野を自由に咀嚼する ことができるに対応。

| | | 授業の目的 【英語】 | | The aim of this seminar is to understand the concept and framework of Clinical Environmental Studies (CES) as a trans-disciplinary approach of the environmental studies. CES is a new way of research and social actions towards sustainable society, conducting diagnosis to treatment of environmental issues across the border of various disciplines in collaboration with stakeholders outside of research community, to solve the problems on the ground. The Classes and Research Instruction in Basic Environmental Studies (CBES) provides the students with the opportunity to deepen the understanding of CES, though the presentation, dialogue and discussion among students and teaching staffs.(1)The participants learn about the basic concept of sustainable development as well as its achievements and challenges through a textbook. (2) learning about the concept of clinical environmental studies (3) The participants have a chance of presentation on one of SDGs and the relationship with their own research subjects.

| | | 到達目標 【日本語】 | | | | | 到達目標 【英語】 | | | | | 授業の内容や構成 | | 月1-2回、1回1.5時間程度のセミナー形式とします（受講生と教員のスケジュール調整のうえ決定します）。
(1)持続可能な開発とSDGsに関する教科書を読み、持続可能な開発の概念、取り組みの歴史、到達点と課題について学びます。セミナー形式ではなくワークショップ形式で参加者が学んだことや疑問に思ったことを共有し深めます。
(2)渡邊他編『臨床環境学』名大出版会,2014年、第４章「臨床環境学の提唱と課題」を読み、臨床環境学の概念と方法論を学びます。
(3)SDGsの17の目標のいずれかを選び、その内容を紹介するとともに、自身の研究とのつながりを考察して発表します。
授業時間以外にテキスト・文献の購読、発表の準備などが求められます。
基礎環境学講究の受講対象となる学生は、さまざまな学問分野において博士研究を行っています。自らの研究テーマが、さまざまな学問分野、そして国内外の具体的な環境問題とその解決に向けた実践活動とどのように結びついているか、理解を深めてもらいたいと考えています。
オンライン（Zoom）のセミナーを月に１回程度定期的に行います。スケジュールは受講生と教員の間で調整します。 | 1 to 2 seminars a month. 1 hour 30 minutes for each class. The schedule will be determined after consultation among students and teaching staffs.
(1) Reading a textbook of sustainable development in workshop-style. The textbook is "An introduction to Sustainable Development" by Jennifer A. Elliott, Rutledge, 1994.
(2) Reading a textbook of Clinical Environment Studies; Chapter 4 Proposing Clinical Environmental Studies and its challenges in "Clinical Environmental Studies" Watanabe et al. ed. Nagoya Univ. Publisher, 2014.
3) Presentation on one of SDGs and the relationship with participants' own research subjects.
Online seminar with Zoom will be hold about once for month. The schedule will be arranged with students and faculties. |
