授業の目的　【日本語】
俯瞰的な視野を持ちながら環境問題の現場で実践的に取り組むことのできる専門家を育てることを目的に行うフィールド授業（On-site Research Training: ORT）です。環境学研究科と生命農学研究科の博士後期課程に設置されている「統合環境学特別コース」の必須授業であるとともに、「名古屋大学大学院６研究科連携ESDプログラム」の授業としても位置付けられ、コース以外の学生も自由に参加できます。
伊勢湾流域圏を対象に、多分野・多国籍の院生と教員でチームを組み、地域の自然と社会の持続可能性を脅かす問題を現地調査によって特定し、住民や行政とも連携して、解決策の探索やそれらの実施に伴う影響の予測を行うプログラムです。
個別の環境問題の解決を目指した多分野融合の取り組みに受講生が主体的に参加することで、環境問題の全体構造の複雑さと、それを理解し解決することの難しさ、また真の解決に向けて必要な課題の数々を、実践的に体得することができます。こうした取り組みは、環境学の統合的研究のプロジェクトリーダーなど優秀な研究者の養成はもとより、国際的な環境実務・環境技術者、行政・企業の環境担当官など、環境学の内外において活躍できる力の育成につながると期待されます。

授業の目的　【英語】
To learn the methods of problem-solving and widen one's perspectives to environmental issues through the activities of "identifying environmental issues, planning & conducting the research activities, and putting the results for publication to be of use of local people". This also helps to obtain learning experiences which one cannot have when only researching and staying in one's own research field and laboratory.

●新年度のスケジュール
①統合環境学特別コース説明会：4月9日（木）17:00〜17:30【終了しました】
場所：環境総合館3階　講義室3

②受講登録・リサーチアシスタント（ＲＡ）申請締切：4月16日（木）17:00【5月の連休明けまで延長します。】

③第1回ORT2020（授業）：4月24日（金）15:00～16:30【延期】→再度案内します。
場所：環境総合館3階　演習室3【延期】→WEB開催の予定。再度案内します。
2020年度のＯＲＴのフィールド木曽町（長野県）について、受講する学生の確認、授業を開催する日時の調整・決定、次回の授業日とそれまでの課題、等を決めます。

●授業内容
2020年度は長野県木曽町を対象地域とし、定期もしくは集中形式で研修を実施します。内容は、
1）学内における事前検討
2）全員による現地視察（2泊3日）
3）個別の班に分かれたテーマ別調査
4）問題解決にむけた総合的な処方箋の取りまとめ
5）現地における処方箋の公開と影響評価シミュレーション
などからなります。

詳しい内容は4月9日の統合環境学特別コース説明会にて説明します。

臨床環境学研修の受講対象となる院生は、対象地域の環境問題について、今、博士論文を作成している院生ではありません。むしろ、他の地域を対象に研究を行っており、対象とする地域やその問題を良く知らなかったり、大循環モデルを用いた気候シミュレーションなど、野外調査とは無縁な研究を行ったりしている院生に積極的に研修に参加してもらい、自らの研究テーマが、国内外の具体的な環境問題とどのように結びついているか、理解を深めてもらいたいと考えています。

●Contents
This training course provides the students with on-site research training (ORT) opportunities. The ORT aims to solve societal issues associated environmental sustainability and resilience by means of experimental approach (continuous hypothesis development regarding diagnosis, prescription and treatment) in collaboration between researchers and stakeholders from various fields and expertise.
The students are able to understand the complexity of the whole picture of so-called environmental problems, the difficulty of appropriate understanding and solving such problems, and necessary issues that are to be clarified towards true solution, through proactive participation in the ORT. Those who participate in this training course are to be very effective to nurture the capacity that are needed in various professional positions such as international/domestic environmental managers/engineers/scientists and environment specialists in governments/private companies, as well as project leaders of integrated research in the field of the environment.

We will conduct the ORT in Kiso town, Nagano prefecture, among the Ise Bay Bio-region, in 2020. The training is a mixture of regular classes and intensive field survey. The contents include:
1)Pre-examination on the campus
2)Field survey by all members (2 nights 3 days)
3)Theme-specific research and survey by separate study groups
4)Development of integrated prescription towards problem solving
5)Presentation of proposed prescription in the field; environmental impact assessment/simulation
The details will be explained at the guidance of the Integrated Environmental Studies Course on 9th April.

成績評価の方法と基準
調査への参加頻度、調査発表の内容で評価します。
The evaluation will be based on the frequency of participation in the field survey and the quality of presentation in the class.
