都市・地域の成長や規模の決定は，地域間の人口や企業の移動及び公共財の供給水準によって影響を受ける．環境や資源の状態はマクロ経済の状態のみならず，ミクロ的な政策決定によっても影響を受けることになる．そこで，本セミナーでは，博士論文の執筆に結びつく形で，既存の文献を精査することにより，既に提案されている種々の接近法を体系的に整理・比較し，新たなモデルのあり方について議論することにより、受講生自身が独自性のある研究を進める能力を養う．
【到達目標】
この授業では，受講者が以下の知識・能力を身につける．
１）都市・地域経済や環境資源問題に関する経済学的分析手法を，代表的文献の精査を通じて習得する．
２）新たなモデルの構築方法に関する手法を習得する．

Inter-regional migration of households and firms as well as the supply of public goods determines the growth and size of cities and regions. The state of the environment and resources is affected not only by macroeconomic but also by microeconomic circumstances. Therefore, in this seminar, we will examine existing articles in order to prepare for a doctoral dissertation, and compare various approaches that have already been proposed, and discuss how to build a new model.
[Course outcomes]
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
1) Understand how to analyze issues related to urban and regional economies, public good provisions, and environmental and resource issues through careful readings of related articles.
2) Construct a new model.

基本的には最近の文献や大学院中・上級レベルの教科書を中心として、セミナー参加者の希望も考慮し、輪読する教材を適宜選定する．参加者は担当する箇所の解説にとどまらず、積極的に自らの問題意識に結びつけて教材を活用することが要請される．また履修者は本セミナーで実施される研究倫理教育ガイダンスの受講を必須とする．また履修者は本セミナーで実施される研究倫理教育ガイダンスの受講を必須とする．

While we plan to read some textbooks, we could change subjects depending on the interests of attendants. All participants are required to attend the guidance session on research ethics conducted as part of this seminar.

Students will be assigned to do presentation on the above topics every week.
The student is responsible for carefully reading the assigned material and brings a set of questions for discussion. |
