このセミナーは環境法政論講座の大学院生を対象として想定している。
<山田教授の担当分>
国際政治学の理論および方法論に関する文献講読を行うとともに、セミナー参加者の遂行する研究に対して議論を通じて適宜指導を行う。
<野村教授の担当分>
政策過程論への理解を深めることおよび、受講者の研究プロジェクトに関する議論・指導を行うことを目的とする。（なお、環境政治セミナーと補完関係にあるため、同セミナーも受講することが望ましい。）
【到達目標】
<山田教授の担当分>
この授業では、受講生は国際政治学の主要な理論に関する知識を習得し、その知識を各自の研究テーマに応用する方法を身に付ける。
<野村教授の担当分>
この授業では，受講者が以下の知識・能力等を身につけることを目標とする。
* 政策過程論の基礎的な理解。
* 研究の方法論の一層の理解。

This seminar is designed for students of the Environmental Law and Politics Unit(Kankyo Hoseiron Kouza).
The aim of this seminar is to learn about the basic theoretical debates in the field of International Relations as well as about different methodologies used to study international relations.
The aims of this seminar include studying the theories of the policy process, and discussing the research projects of seminar participants. (This seminar is complimentary to his Environmental Politics Seminars A-D, and therefore the participants of this seminar course are strongly recommended to take them as well.)
【Learning Outcomes】
After completing this course, students should be able to understand the principal theoretical frameworks in the field of International Relations and to apply their theoretical knowledge to their own research topics.
Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:
* have a basic understanding of the theories of the policy process.
* have a further understanding of research methodology. |

| 授業の内容や構成 | | 新年度の授業日程や授業方法等に関しては、NUCTを通じて連絡します。
■<野村教授の担当分> 秋学期の授業は、基本的に遠隔授業とするが、受講者数次第によっては対面と併用で行う。
受講方法については、別途NUCTにて通知する。
【授業の構成】
このセミナーは環境法政論講座の大学院生を対象として想定している。
また、履修者は本セミナーで実施される研究倫理教育ガイダンスの受講を必須とする。

国際政治学の理論および方法論に関する文献講読を行うとともに、セミナー参加者の遂行する研究に対して議論を通じて適宜指導を行う。
<野村教授の担当分>
政策過程論に関する文献講読や、セミナー参加者の研究発表を元に、議論・指導を行う。

各受講者は、予め指定図書を予習して、内容をまとめるとともに、それについて議論できるように準備をすること。
<野村教授の担当分>
各受講者は、次回の授業内容を予習して、議論できるよう準備をするとともに、リーディングリストに記載されている各回の設問に対する回答を用意すること。 | ■ This seminar course is delivered online. (Face-to-face sessions may also be provided depending on the number of participants.)

【Contents】
This seminar is designed for students of the Environmental Law and Politics Unit(Kankyo Hoseiron Kouza).
All participants are required to attend the guidance session on research ethics conducted as part of this seminar.
Students are required to read assigned literature concerning International Relations theories and also to apply a theory to their own research topic in close consultation with the instructor.
Seminar participants will read books and articles related to the theories of the policy process.
Participants are also required to give presentations about their own research.
The basic schedule is as follows, covering approximately one topic per week.

【Preparation/Review】
Students are required to read the assigned reading material beforehand and prepare comments for discussion.
This is a seminar module. Its success and your achievement will depend upon your knowledge of the readings, your readiness to participate in discussion, and the quality of your oral and written work.
Student Requirements:
* Weekly readings should be done prior to each session.
* Students are expected to contribute to seminar discussions regularly. This requires that you come to seminar prepared to talk in detail about the assigned readings and the key questions for each session provided in the reading list. |
