Goals of the Course [JPN] | | | 本授業科目は，初年次生を大学教育へ導入し，自立した学習能力を身につけるとともに，文・理に共通した基礎的学力や技能を養うために，多面的な知的トレーニングによって，コモンベーシックとしての読み，書き，話す能力のかん養を図るとともに，真理探究の方法と面白さを学ぶことが目的である。 |

Objectives of the Course [JPN] | | 本科目では、道路空間に求められる様々な機能に着目し、その機能を充足するためにどのようなデザイン上の工夫が必要かを考えていく。それを通じて、以下の能力を身に付けることを目標とする。
・得られた知識に基づき、自身で問いを設定することができる。
・文献調査や現地調査を通じて、必要な情報を収集することができる。
・情報を整理して、資料を用いて自分の言葉で説明することができる。 |

Objectives of the Course [ENG] | | In this course, we will focus on functions required in the road spaces and consider what kind of design ingenuity is necessary to satisfy those functions.
Through this course, the students will be able to:
- Set their own questions based on the acquired knowledge.
- Collect necessary information through literature reviews and field surveys.
- Summarize information appropriately and explain in their own words using presentation materials. |
