基礎・臨床の研究者を目指すひとにとっては、使える英語を習得することが必須です。ほとんどの新しい情報は英語で入ってくるからです。このセミナーでは、病気のメカニズムを英語で勉強していけるように訓練をしたいと思います。様々な病気の仕組みを勉強しながら、実際に使える英語を習得していくことを目指します。

Goals of the Course [ENG]
It is essential for medical students, especially who would like to be researchers in the future, to learn practical English. This is because most of the novel information comes in English. In this lecture, we would offer various occasions to get used to practical English in the field of medical science for you. By learning fundamental medical science and hot topics, you wilｌ obtain the ability to understand, respond to and also address medical information.

To obtain the abilities to understand fundamental medical text book or essays in medical journals, to exchange ideas and opinions in English regarding medical topics, and to understand the differences of characteristics between the Japanese language and the English.

Message from the Instructor
This lecture is a seminar for the freshmen of medical school to get accustomed to the study in the university via multifaceted intellectual training. This seminar includes trainings on oral presentation and communication, especially discussion, in English by the use of various articles from medical journals.

基礎分野でも臨床分野でも一人前になった研究者の一番の楽しみは、仕事で年に複数回外国へ行けることです。そのようなひとが皆さんの学年から沢山出てくることを期待しながら、この授業をやっています。生体反応病理学の４名の教官が担当します。
