Goals of the Course [JPN]
本授業科目は，初年次生を大学教育へ導入し，自立した学習能力を身につけるとともに，文・理に共通した基礎的学力や技能を養うために，多面的な知的トレーニングによって，コモンベーシックとしての読み，書き，話す能力のかん養を図るとともに，真理探究の方法と面白さを学ぶことが目的である。

Goals of the Course [ENG]
The purpose of this course is to introduce the first-year students to university education, to help them acquire the ability to study independently, and cultivate basic academic abilities and skills common to both the humanities and the sciences, to develop the ability to read, write, and speak as common basics through multifaceted intellectual training, and to learn the methods and fun of truth-seeking.

本セミナーでは、生命科学とその関連技術の日常生活との関連を知るとともに、異なる立場に基づく意見を理解し、論理的にコミュニケーションする力を養う。

In this seminar, we will learn how life sciences and related technologies are related to everyday life and develop the ability to think and communicate logically with the understanding of different opinions.

各グループのテーマに関する調査と発表の準備は授業時間以外にも自宅等で行うこと。また、各グループの発表を踏まえた全体討論に対する各自の考えについて、レポートを課す。
