日韓の文化の違いや在日朝鮮人の存在に注目し、日本と朝鮮半島との複雑な関係について多角的な視野から理解を深めることがこの授業のねらいである。

Seminar theme: From Korean Drama to “Pachigi”-Thinking deeply about Japan-Korean relations
The purpose of this course is to focus on the differences between Japan and South Korea and the presence of Koreans in Japan, and to deepen their understanding of the complex relationship between Japan and Korean Peninsula from a multifaceted perspective.

Message from the Instructor
K-popやドラマだけでなく、日本と朝鮮半島との深い関係を広い視野から考えてみましょう。インターネットを検索すると、韓国や北朝鮮、在日朝鮮人に対する反感や敵対感情をあからさまに表現するサイトを目にします。皆さんは、そのような「分かりやすい」解答に満足することなく、問題をじっくりと自分の頭で考えることが必要です。隣国や私たちのすぐ近くに暮らす「コリアンな人たち」との出会いは、きっと皆さんの視野を広げてくれることでしょう。この列島と半島を含む東アジアの過去と現在、そして未来を一緒に考えていきましょう。

In this course, the first-year students are introduced to university education, acquire independent learning skills, and develop multi-faceted intellectual training in order to develop basic scholastic ability and skills common to both text and science. The aim is to improve the ability to read, write, and speak as a common basic, and to learn the ways and fun of seeking truth.
