Goals of the Course [JPN] | | | 人工知能や再生医療に代表される最先端の科学技術の発達によって、社会が大きく変化しようとしています。しかし歴史を振り返れば、私たち人類に役立つと考えて開発してきた科学技術が、後になって有害だった場合も多いのが現実です。科学技術の発達を止める事は難しいので、引き起こされる社会環境の変化を先取りして課題解決を図ることが必要と考えられます。生物への悪影響という狭義の環境問題だけでなく、社会環境の課題も環境問題の一つとして広くとらえ、各自が環境課題を選び整理・解説・議論を行うことを通して、各自がコミュニケーション能力と意見をまとめる能力を高める事を目的とします。 |

授業の目的 【英語】
Goals of the Course [ENG] | | | With the development of science and technology frontiers such as artificial intelligence and regenerative medicine, our society is undergoing major changes. However, looking back on history, the reality is that science and technology that we have developed to be useful to humankind are often harmful later. Since it is difficult to stop the development of science and technology, it is necessary to anticipate the changes in the social environment that will be caused and solve the problems in the early stages. Not only environmental problems in the narrow sense of adverse effects on living organisms, but also social problems are widely regarded as one of the environmental problems. Each student is requested to select one of the environmental problems, to explain it and to have a discussion with other students in the class. Finally, each student should write the review paper on the environmental problem selected. Students are expected to build up themselves with the ability to have logical communication and to summarize the idea by writing and by speaking. |

4．自分の考えを文章にまとめて考えを伝えることができる |

1. to find information about the issues you are interested in in a variety of ways.
2. to organize your thoughts, and explain them in an easy-to-understand manner.
3. to discuss with other people.
4. to summarize your thoughts in sentences and convey your thoughts. |
