Goals of the Course [JPN]
生命科学技術の目覚ましい発展は，環境，農業，医療など様々な分野で革新をもたらす一方で，生命倫理が問題となっています．本セミナーでは，古今の生命科学技術の中から興味深いものを各自取り上げプレゼン形式で紹介してもらいます．その過程で，情報の収集と取捨選択，まとめ，発表と議論する能力を身につけることを目標にします

Goals of the Course [ENG]
The remarkable development of life science technologies have brought innovations in various industrial fields, while it involves bioethics problems. In this seminar, we aim to acquire the ability for the presentation by summarizing the benefits and problems of current life technologies.

Objectives of the Course [JPN]
生命科学技術の歴史的背景と応用についての知識を得る。またそれらの技術的、倫理的な問題の発見とその解決法を自身で考察し、他者に伝える技術を獲得することを目標とする。

Objectives of the Course [ENG]
Students will obtain knowledges of the historical background and applications of life science technology. In addition, students are expected to discover technical and ethical problems, consider their own solutions, and acquire the skills to communicate them to others.
