Goals of the Course [JPN]
このセミナーでは社会科学で使えるデータ分析手法の基本的な考え方とその使い方を修得する。いくつかの手法について学んだ後、参加者は各自の研究テーマを選びデータを集めて分析する。得られた結果はセミナーで研究報告し全員で議論し、それを通じてデータ分析のリテラシーを身に着ける。

Goals of the Course [ENG]
This seminar is aimed for the students of social sciences to study the basic principle of data analysis tools as well as to practice usage of them. After learning some analytical tools, students each are required to choose a topic for in-class research and to collect and analyze data along with the research purpose. The obtained results are presented for discussion among all participants so as to acquire data literacy.
