授業の目的　【日本語】
Goals of the Course [JPN]
本授業科目は，初年次生を大学教育へ導入し，自立した学習能力を身につけるとともに，文・ 理に共通した基礎的学力や技能を養うために，多面的な知的トレーニングによって，コモンベーシックとしての読み，書き，話す能力のかん養を図るとともに，真理探究の方法と面白さを学ぶことが目的である。

Courses designed to develop students' capabilities in the basic disciplines of reading, writing, and speaking through wide-ranging intellectual training and to help students learn both how to pursue truth and how interesting such an activity can be.

本セミナーでは，現在世界でどの程度の情報が生み出され，蓄積され，捨てられているか，および情報の蓄積（ストレージ）にどのような技術が使われているかを学び，社会を持続的に発展させるために何が必要かを考える。さらに，プレゼンやグループ討論などを通じて、プレゼンやコミュニケーションの能力を養う。

Objectives of the Course [ENG]
The goal of this seminar is to learn how much data is created, stored, and discarded every day globally, as well as the technology used to store the data, and also to think about actions for the sustainable development of our society. In addition, to develop reading, writing, and speaking skills through presentations and group discussions.
