Goals of the Course [JPN]
人の生活は微生物と常に密接な関係を持っている。微生物は、病原菌となるウイルスやバクテリア、食物を腐敗させるカビなど、人の生活に負の影響を及ぼすものがいる一方で、抗生物質の産生、発酵食品、有毒物質の分解など、有益に利用されているものも多い。本セミナーでは、人の生活と微生物との関わりついての理解を深めてもらうことを目的とする。

Goals of the Course [ENG]
Human life is always closely related to microorganisms. While some microorganisms have a negative impact on human life, such as pathogenic viruses, bacteria and fungi, many of them are also beneficially used for producing antibiotics, fermented foods, and decomposing toxic substances. The purpose of this seminar is to deepen the understanding of the relationship between human life and microorganisms.

Objectives of the Course [JPN]
本セミナーでは、身の回りの微生物を分離、培養し、観察および諸性質について実験を行う。また、人の歴史の中での微生物の役割について調査し、人と他の生物の関わりについての理解を深める。

Objectives of the Course [ENG]
In this seminar, we will isolate and cultivate the microorganisms around us, observe them, and conduct experiments on various properties. We will also investigate the role of microorganisms in human history and deepen our understanding of the relationship between humans and other organisms.
