授業の目的 【日本語】
Goals of the Course [JPN] | | | 人間の行動と、その基礎にある「心」の働きの仕組みについて、実証的方法を用いながら科学的にアプローチしようとするのが心理学である。この講義では、実証的心理学の代表的な理論や研究の成果を概観することにより、「社会的存在としての人間」の本質に迫ることを目的とする。将来、社会のさまざまな領域で活躍する人材にとって必要な、人間に関する基本的理解を体得することを目指す。また、単に心理学に関する知識を習得するだけでなく、科学的思考・批判的思考の方法を身につけることも目標とする。 |

Goals of the Course [ENG] | | | Psychology is a field of science in which researchers attempt to reveal the mechanism of “mind” that underlies human behavior and thoughts. In this lecture, we will discuss achievements of major theories and empirical studies in modern psychology, with a special emphasis on the view of humans as “social animal.” The materials are designed to promote students' critical thinking concerning fundamentals of human nature, which will be essential to the aim of become cultivated and productive citizens in various sectors of our society. |

Objectives of the Course [JPN] | | | 人間は、各自が置かれた物理的・社会的環境からどのような影響を受けながら、またどのように適応しながら行動し、生活を形作っていくのか？その仕組みを、実験や観察、調査などの実証的方法を用いて明らかにしようとするのが、科学としての心理学である。ここでは、主に社会的環境（自己や他者、所属する集団や文化）との相互作用に焦点を当てながら、人間の行動の基礎にあると考えられる「心」の正体に迫ることを目指す。 |

Objectives of the Course [ENG] | | The goal of this class is to achieve understandings of the following issues:
(1) Theoretical explanations concerning how physical as well as social environment (including the self, others, groups, culture, and so forth) influence people’s thoughts and behavior.
(2) What methodologies are used, to empirically test those theories.
(3) Actual significance of those findings from the studies. |
