Goals of the Course [JPN] | | | 私たちは生まれてから死ぬまで、社会との関わりのなかで生きています。自分と社会をつなぐ結び目を意識すると、人生の自由と不自由がよりよく見えるようになります。個人の人生の問題を歴史と社会構造のなかに位置づけて捉える能力のことを社会学的想像力と呼びます。この講義では福祉の問題に焦点を当てながら、社会学的想像力の意義と鍛え方を伝えたいと思います。あわせて、自然科学とは異なる社会科学の特徴についても折にふれてお話するつもりです。 |

授業の目的 【英語】
Goals of the Course [ENG] | | | From birth to death, we live in relationship with society. When we are aware of our connection to society, we can better see the freedom and constraint of life. The ability to perceive troubles in an individual life by placing them in the context of history and social structure is called sociological imagination. In this lecture, I would like to convey the significance of the sociological imagination and how to train it, focusing on the issue of welfare. I will also talk about the characteristics of social sciences, which differ from natural sciences. |
