Goals of the Course [JPN] | | 本授業科目は，人文・社会科学系分野の諸現象について，それらの諸現象を学際的，総合的に分析，把握する能力を育むとともに，他の学問分野との関連性について理解することが目的である。
現代の社会において科学・技術の影響は重大である一方、高度に複雑化した現代の科学・技術を正しく理解し、評価することは専門家以外には困難である。この授業においては科学と技術について深く考え、議論することを通じて、その本質を理解し、またそれらが私たちに与える影響を正しく評価する能力を訓練し、向上させることを目指す。 |

Goals of the Course [ENG] | | The purpose of this class is to develop the ability to analyze and understand various phenomena in the humanities and social sciences in an interdisciplinary and comprehensive manner, and to understand their relevance to other academic fields.
While the impact of science and technology is significant in modern society, it is difficult for anyone other than experts to correctly understand and evaluate the highly complex modern science and technology. Through intensive thought and discussion of science and technology, this class aims to train and improve the ability to understand its essence and to properly assess its impact on us. |
