この授業では、地球の形状や内部構造、地球を構成する物質の種類や性質、水圏・気圏も含めた地球の表層環境などについて、興味深い例を示しながら説明し、地球に対する理解を深めていきます。また、地球科学で用いられている代表的な研究方法を紹介します。
