Goals of the Course [JPN]
本授業科目は，自然科学系分野の学問体系を認識するとともに，自主的判断能力を培うことが目的である。
現代科学技術において重要な基礎分野の一つであるニュートン力学の基本概念と手法について理解を深めるとともに、力学とその概念を応用した理工系分野を学ぶための基礎学力を養う。

Courses that provide students with the skills required to analyze and understand phenomena in the field of natural sciences in an interdisciplinary, comprehensive fashion that promotes an understanding of their relationships to other fields of study. Goals of the course are to understand fundamental concepts and principles in classical mechanics.

力学で用いる数学的手法と現実の物体を抽象化した質点の運動について説明できることが本授業の目標である。

At the end of this course, students will be able to demonstrate a basic knowledge of Newton’s Laws and the ability to apply basic methods of classical mechanics towards solutions of various simple problems.
