Message from the Instructor | | 最先端の研究は面白い。でも最先端を理解するためには、その土台である基礎を理解できている必要があります。本講義では「原子・分子の構造」と「周期表」を物理化学、なかでも量子化学をベースとして理解することを目標としています。具体的には、高校で学んだ化学・物理・数学を使って、原子・分子内での電子の運動を理解します。高校では化学を暗記科目として勉強したかもしれませんが、大学の化学は将来皆さんが「化学者」として社会活躍するための能力になるものですから、暗記ではなく、活用できる知識として理解することを目指して下さい。わからない点があれば講義中、放課後等に大いに質問して下さい。質問大歓迎です(工学部1号館729号室)。
Purpose: Chemistry is the study of the nature and structure of chemical substances and the chemical reactions. The purpose of this course is to learn the theoretical basis of the structure and properties of substances and chemical changes in order to systematize and deepen the knowledge of chemistry.
Aim: Let's study the following points. 1) The importance of chemistry in society and the experimental and theoretical grounds. 2) The structure of atoms. 3) The periodic table derived from the nature of atoms. 4) Understanding of molecular structure a quantum chemical point of view. |
