本授業科目は，自然科学系分野の学問体系を認識するとともに，自主的判断能力を培うことが目的である。
本講義では、現代科学技術において重要な基礎分野の一つである電磁気学を学び、その基本概念と手法について理解を深めるとともに、それらを応用する理工系分野を学ぶための基礎学力を養う。本講義では、電磁気学で用いる基礎的な数学的概念、および電荷と電流が時間に依存しない定常的な場合について学ぶ。木を見て森を見ず、とならないよう、電磁気学の基礎的な概念をイメージ的に把握することに主眼を置く。

Goals of the Course [ENG]
The purpose of this course is to recognize the academic system of natural science fields and to cultivate the ability to make independent judgments. In this course, students will learn electromagnetism, which is one of the important basic fields in modern science and technology, and deepen their understanding of its basic concepts and methods, as well as develop basic academic skills for studying science and engineering fields that apply these concepts. In this lecture, we will learn the basic mathematical concepts used in electromagnetism and the steady-state case where the charge and current are independent of time. The main focus is on grasping the basic concepts of electromagnetism in an imaginative way.

電磁気学の基礎概念を理解する。電磁気現象をイメージし、それを数式として定量的に表現し理解できる能力を習得する。

Understand the basic concepts of electromagnetism. To acquire the ability to visualize electromagnetic phenomena and to express and understand them quantitatively as mathematical equations.
