Goals of the Course [JPN] | | | 定量的変化を記述・分析する数学の分野が解析学であり，その中心的方法は微分・積分である。これらの方法は自然科学において必須の研究手法であるが，近年はさらに社会科学などにも広く応用されている。本科目は通年講義の後半として，多変数微分積分学の基本を理解し，様々の計算に習熟して応用できるようになること，また数理科学的な思考力や洞察力を培うことを目的とする。 |

Goals of the Course [ENG] | | | Analysis is a subject of mathematics to describe and analyze qualitative changes in nature. The goal of this course is to understand the basics of analysis of functions in several variables and also to develop mathematical thinking and insight. |

Objectives of the Course [JPN] | | | 多変数微分積分学の基本を理解し，様々の計算に習熟する。特に，多変数関数のグラフなどを通して幾何学（空間）的イメージ，線形代数と結び付いた理解を重視する。 |

Objectives of the Course [ENG] | | | The objectives of students are to understand the basics of analysis of functions in several variables and, in particular, to learn the geometrical intuition of the graphs of functions in several variables in view of linear algebra. |

Study Load (Self-directed Learning Outside Course Hours) | | | 自宅での復習・演習が不可欠である。ほぼ毎回，演習と予習を兼ねた宿題形式のレポートを課すため，指定日までに提出すること。また，採点済みのレポートは返却し，解答例を公開するため，各自復習を行うこと。 |
