授業の目的　【日本語】
Goals of the Course [JPN]
本授業科目は,自然科学系分野の諸現象について、それらの諸現象を学際的,総合的に分析・把握する能力を育むとともに、他の学問分野との関連性について理解することが目的である。
本科目では、我々の住む惑星である地球の成り立ちと現在の姿についての基礎的な知識を習得し、それらを物理学・化学・生物学を用いて包括的に理解することを目的とする。宇宙の誕生,太陽系の形成,地球の誕生と、その後の変遷を経た現在の地球にみられる岩石・鉱物・化石に至るまで、大きなスケールから小さなスケールへと順に講義を進める。

Goals of the Course [ENG]
The aim of the course category is to develop the ability to analyze and understand various phenomena in the natural sciences in an interdisciplinary and comprehensive manner, and to understand the relationship between these phenomena and other academic fields.
The purpose of this course is to acquire basic knowledge about the origin and current state of our planet, the Earth, and to comprehensively understand it using physics, chemistry, and biology. The course will cover the birth of the universe, the formation of the solar system, the birth of the earth, and the subsequent changes in the rocks, minerals, and biological fossils found on the earth, by moving the scope from large to small scales of the objects and phenomena.

目標は、地球について、様々な視点に立った知識を得ることである。また、それらの知識を連関させて解釈し、地球の歴史を紐解くことの重要性や面白さに触れる。それによって、複雑な対象を分析・把握する能力を培う。

Objectives of the Course [ENG]
The goal of the lecture is to gain knowledge about the Earth from a variety of perspectives. Students will be exposed to the importance and fascination of unraveling the history of the Earth by interpreting this knowledge in conjunction with other knowledge. Finally, students will cultivate the ability to analyze and understand complex subjects.
