本授業科目は，自然科学系分野の諸現象について，それらの諸現象を学際的，総合的に分析，把握する能力を育むとともに，他の学問分野との関連性について理解することが目的である。

授業の達成目標　【日本語】
Objectives of the Course [JPN]
本授業では、分子認識に関する基本的な物理化学から、天然の酵素や抗体による基質認識機構まで網羅的に学習する。特にＤＮＡが二重らせんを形成する機構を通じて、水中で天然の抗体や酵素がターゲットを精緻に認識する機構を理解する。また人工レセプターの構築、触媒反応における分子認識、および分子進化など、最近の研究についても学ぶ。

Objectives of the Course [ENG]
The main purpose of this class is to learn molecular recognition in living organisms. Precise recognition among biomolecules are realized in cells. We will learn from fundamental physical chemistry to biochemistry of nucleic acids, antibodies and enzymes. We will also learn artificial receptors, enzymatic reactions and molecular evolution.
