本授業科目は，自然科学系分野の諸現象について，それらの諸現象を学際的，総合的に分析，把握する能力を育むとともに，他の学問分野との関連性について理解することが目的である。

The purpose of this lecture is to develop the ability to analyze and understand various phenomena in the field of natural science in an interdisciplinary and comprehensive manner, and to understand their relevance to other academic fields.

Objectives of the Course [JPN]
豊かさ、便利さ、快適さの追究は、環境汚染、生物多様性の減少、地球温暖化、 砂漠化などの環境問題を顕在化させ、自然環境の破壊を加速させ、延いては生活環境の破壊までももたらすことが危惧されている。 本講義の前半では、生物種の現状や生物多様性の重要性を理解し、生物多様性保全の取組みを学ぶ。後半では、先進国の環境保護運動や海や森などの自然資源と人間に関わりについての理解を深め、自然と人間との共生社会のあり方について学ぶ。
