本授業では、様々な生物の生命現象とこれを支える分子である遺伝子の構造や働きについて学び、遺伝子から捉えた新しい生命像、生命科学の展開、およびこれらの人間生活、環境に及ぼすインパクトについて、学生自らが考えることをねらいとする。

The objectives of this course are to help students to understand biological concepts and progress of life sciences, based on the knowledge acquired, and to think by themselves about their impact on human life and the environment.
